Mr. Skeet

asked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will indicate the number of properties in separate ownership traversed by the Bromham bypass, Bedfordshire (A428).

Mr. Horam

The line which was established for Bromham bypass by an order made in 1964 traverses property in 15 separate ownerships.

Mr. Skeet

asked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will give his estimate of the construction time required to build the Bromham bypass (A428) and the bridge crossing the River Ouse, Bedfordshire.

Mr. Horam

The construction period for a bypass of Bromham including a bridge across the River Ouse, would probably be two years.
