§ Mr. Cryerasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he anticipates incorporating any changes in his legislative proposals on picketing as a result of consultation with the trade union movement.
§ Mr. MayhewMy right hon. Friend looks forward to holding full consultations with representatives of the TUC on all the Government's legislative proposals in the field of industrial relations. I cannot as yet anticipate incorporating any changes in the Government's proposals on picketing as a result of such consultations, since the consultations have only recently commenced. He will, of course, give serious consideration to any suggestion that is put forward.
