HC Deb 11 June 1979 vol 968 cc57-8W
Mr. Alton

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment how much public money has been spent so far in British cities as part of the inner city construction package; and whether he intends to allow the remainder of the committed expenditure, currently unspent, to be used by local authorities.

Mr. King

The latest estimate for expenditure in England under the inner city construction package is £56.4 million. Local authorities have been given allocations for further expenditure on the construction package in 1979–80.
