§ Mr. Spearingasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what are the arrangements made in each local education authority, where grammar schools still exist, for transfer to such schools by examination in years subsequent to the junior leaving examination, commonly called the 11-plus, together with the numbers in any such authority taking such examinations during the most recent full year and the numbers so accepted for entry by maintained grammar schools of each authority.
§ Dr. BoysonThe information requested is not collected by the Department. Arrangements for admission to maintained schools, including grammar schools, are matters for the local education authority or the governors of the school as appropriate.
