asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether, in view of the uncertainty of the timing of the report of the Working Party on the Health Effect of Lead, they will request the working party to make an interim report by 30th September.

Lord CULLEN of ASHBOURNE

Her Majesty's Government understand that the working party now expects to be in a position to make a final report before the end of this year, and do not think it appropriate to request the working party to make an interim report.
