HL Deb 27 July 1979 vol 401 c2164WA
Baroness FISHER of REDNAL

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they are satisfied that no inadvertent unfairness towards women doctors has occurred as a result of the decision on the appointment of limited session consultants.

Lord CULLEN of ASHBOURNE

I am afraid that I do not know to what decision the noble Baroness's Question refers. I can, however, assure her that the Government are well aware of the need to provide opportunities for the increasing number of women doctors who may be unable to work full-time because of personal circumstances.
