§ The LORD CHANCELLOR (Lord Hailsham of Saint Marylebone)I have asked the Law Commission to note the noble Lord's suggestion for consolidation of the legislation affecting the conservation and protection of wildlife, and to ensure that decisions are taken at the appropriate time on the extent of any such consolidation, and the priority to be accorded to it.
