§ 25. Mr. Dormandasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what proposals he has for financial assistance to district councils which have taken responsibility for new town housing.
§ Mr. StanleyFinancial assistance is already available under arrangements agreed in January 1978. I am also pre pared to honour the previous Government's commitment to give some limited additional help towards remedial works on the housing transferred.
