§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeA scheme for improvement of the A303 between Mere and Wincanton was added to the preparation pool in 1971. The public was consulted about possible alternative routes in 1976 and we are presently considering what kind of improvement is necessary. We hope to make an announcement
