asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the expenditure on the Secret Service will in future be subject to a cash limit.

Mr. Biffen

The Vote for expenditure on the Secret Service (Class II, 8) is already treated as a cash limit. No change in this practice is envisaged.
