Member for Heywood and Royton on 6 December, if he will make a state- 60W ment on how he arrived at the figure of£750,000,000 as a general allowance for shortfall in table 1 of Cmnd. 7746; and if he will make available the figures for individual programmes which were used in arriving at that figure.

On the final point, the allowance for shortfall is a general one and differences from individual programmes will not be known until the outturn figures for the year are available.
