§ Mr. David MitchellIn 1978 about 40 per cent. of the cars sold by Chrysler, Ford and Vauxhall in the United Kingdom were imported either assembled or completely knocked down; between 4 and 5 per cent. of their United Kingdom output was exported to the EEC Six; and between 1 and 2 per cent. of their sales in the EEC Six were imported from the United Kingdom.
