§ Mr. Robert Taylorasked the Secretary of State for Industry what is the percentage of total manufacturing cost of the A310 airbus awarded to British manufacturers, excluding the contributions of Rolls-Royce and British Aerospace.
§ Mr. Michael MarshallAlthough definitive figures are not available in the form requested, estimates provided by the industry suggest that the proportion of equipment on the A310–excluding buyer-furnished equipment—supplied by the United Kingdom will be about 8½ to 9 per cent. by value.
