asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science it she has now completed her consideration of the Rochdale education authority's reorganisation of Catholic schools; and if she will make a statement.

Proposals for the reorganisation of Roman Catholic secondary schools in the Middleton and Heywood areas of the Rochdale education authority were approved on 7 February 1979. With the reorganisation of these schools in September 1979, all Roman Catholic secondary schools in the Rochdale education authority will have been reorganised along comprehensive lines.
