§ Mr. ArmstrongAccording to the 1977 General Household Survey, 1 per cent. of those interviewed who rented their accommodation with their job or business paid a gross annual rent, before deduction of rent rebate or allowance, of more than £1,000 and a further 0.7 per cent. paid between £800 and £1,000. No information is available as to whether or not the occupants of the accommodation were salaried.
§ Mr. Ralph Howellasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will give details of the highest weekly rent charged for a tied cottage, known to his Department; and if he will state by whom this rent is charged.
