§ 44. Mr. Jesselasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on defence policy in the light of recruitment difficulties.
§ Mr. WellbelovedDefence policy remains as set out in the 1978 "Statement on the Defence Estimates" (Cmnd. 7099). Recruiting has been difficult in some areas and we are watching the situation carefully.
