§ Mr. Freeson"Planning Permission—a Guide for Industry" has been published today. This booklet, prepared by the National Building Agency for the Department of the Environment, is one of the initiatives taken by the Department in the context of the industrial strategy. It describes the procedures for obtaining planning permission for industrial development in England and Wales and it should prove a useful aid, particularly to small and medium-sized firms. Copies are being made available free of charge from local planning authorities.
