§ Mr. Beithasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what is the cause of the delay in hearing the planning appeal concerning a site used by gipsies at Main Street, Tweedmouth, Northumberland; and when he expects the appeal to be heard.
§ Mr. Guy BarnettThis appeal has been held in abeyance at the appellant's request but the Berwick upon Tweed Borough Council have now asked that a local inquiry be held. I will write to the hon. Member when the arrangements have been made.
