§ Mr. John GrantI am informed by the chairman of the Health and Safety Commission that discussion of the EEC draft directive on notification of certain industrial activities is still at the informal stage.
Officials of the Health and Safety Executive who are taking part in those discussions are well aware of the need for compatibility between the directive and any regulations stemming from the 267W recommendations in the first report of the Advisory Committee on Major Hazards.
