§ Mr. Richard Wainwrightasked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection whether he has studied the proceedings of the recent inquest on Anthony James Dean, 54 Carr Lane, Slaithwaite, near Huddersfield, who choked himself with a toy supplied to him in a packet of mixed sweets and toys; and whether he intends to take consequent action in respect of lucky bags.
§ Mr. John FraserMy Department is aware of this most unfortunate accident, and is making inquiries into it. Appropriate action will be taken based on the results of these inquiries, but in the meantime we have asked the company concerned to withdraw this line from sale.
