§ Mr. TomlinsonThere are no Diplomatic Service officers employed full time on these activities. Reading the Press of the Soviet Union and East European countries and listening to their broadcasts is part of the normal duties of a number of departments in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and of our embassies in those countries.
