§ Mr. Rathboneasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he has concluded his reconsideration of the need for a yellow flag system of vessel control; and if he is planning to reintroduce such a system before the August holiday season starts.
§ Mr. Robert Sheldon,pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 20th July 1978], gave the following answer:
No. Consultations between Her Majesty's Customs and the many interested parties are still proceeding and it will be some time before a decision can be reached about the practicability of adopting such a system.
