§ Mr. Adam Hunterasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science when she intends publishing an account of the grants paid by the office for scientific and technical information for 1970 to 1975 and its successor, the British Library research and development department; and why this updating has not been published, in the light of the fact that it has prevented experts in the field from assessing the value of the Department's expenditure which is practically the only source of public funds for research in information in Great Britain.
§ Mr. OakesAs my right hon. Friend told my hon. Friend in a letter dated 21st January 1978, a list of these grants was made publicly available in 1976, free on demand. It has been issued to all who have asked for it.
