§ Mr. Merlyn ReesIn the period 20th March to 31st December 1976, nine persons were prosecuted in England and Wales for offences under Section 3 of the Unsolicited Goods and Services Act 1971, as amended by the Unsolicited Goods and Services (Amendment) Act 1975. Eight of these were convicted and one acquitted. All those convicted were fined.
