HL Deb 28 February 1978 vol 389 c470WA
Lord GEORGE-BROWN

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they have considered the request made in the course of the debate on Rhodesia on 14th February, that the documents and working papers which have been circulated to the participants in the Salisbury talks and in discussions with the Patriotic Front, should be made available in the Library of the House.

Lord GORONWY-ROBERTS

By mutual consent, these need to be, at least for the time being, confidential working documents. It is not therefore my right honourable friend's intention to make them more widely available at present.

House adjourned at twenty-one minutes past seven o'clock.
