Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list in the Official Report the biographical details of Sir Edward Pochin and Sir Frederick Warner and their interests in the exploitation of nuclear energy ; and whether these details were taken account of when they were appointed to the Wind-scale inquiry.

Professor Sir Frederick Edward Warner, F.R.S. (66) is a senior partner, Cremer and Warner, a Fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers (President, 1966) and President d'Honneur, Federation Europeenne d'Associations Nationales D'Ingenieurs. He was a member of the Royal Commission on Environmental Pollution from 1973–76, and of the Advisory Council on Energy Conservation.
