To consider the Schools Council's proposals for a Certificate of Extended Education (CEE) in relation to other courses and examinations for those whom the CEE is intended; to study and advise upon the pilot CEE schemes; to consider possible developments in the provision of relevant courses and examinations in schools and further education; and report to the Secretary of State.
