§ Mr. McElhoneAs announced in paragraph 286 of the 1977 transport White Paper (Cmnd. 6836), there will be an annual statement on roads in Scotland. This will be incorporated in the annual report of the Scottish Development Department which will be presented to Parliament later this year.
Revised arrangements for all public local inquiries including those on roads, were set out in SDD Circular 14 of 1975. These are always kept under review but my right hon. Friend does not propose to make any further changes at present.
