§ Mr. Maddenasked the Secretary of State for Industry if he will list in the Official Report the number and value of applications which are still outstanding under the scheme of assistance under the Industry Act 1972 to the clothing industry.
§ Mr. CryerThe latest figures available cover the period up to 28th February 1978. The number of outstanding applications was 616 with an estimated grant value of over £20 million. There are, however, some cases which cannot yet be recorded so that the above figures will be subject to some slight revision.
