§ Mr. Cryer:Four formal applications have been received from firms in the West Midlands area since the commencement of the Product and Process Development Scheme. Additionally, the Department has received approximately 160 inquiries from this area but it is not possible at this stage to estimate what proportion of these will become firm applications for assistance.
