§ Mr. Cockcroftasked the Secretary of State for Industry if he has any proposals to simplify the paper work that is involved in running any small business in view of the fact that recent surveys have indicated that as much as one-fifth of a small business man's time may be taken up with paperwork for the Government.
§ Mr. Cryer:I do not recognise the figure of one-fifth. All forms are kept under continuous review to ensure that the essential requirements of Government are met, whilst keeping to a minimum the burden of form filling on small firms.
