§ Mr. Richard Wainwrightasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list in the Official Report the numbers of persons living on incomes below the supplementary benefit level for each year since 1972; and if he will distinguish the numbers living in (a) England, (b) Wales and (c) Scotland.
§ Mr. Orme, pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 8th July 1977; Vol. 934, c. 677–8], gave the following information:
size of the family in 1940, 1950, 1955, 1960, 1965, 1970, 1975; and what is his estimate for 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, and the year 2000.
