The data for 1975 have been adjusted to take account of this.The figures in line (b) are derived from the Department's Annual Special Enquiries for 1974 and 1975. In order to make these figures comparable with those from the FES, families with the head sick or unemployed for less than three months have been excluded, as have those not living in private households.
