§ Mr. Hugh Jenkinsasked the Secretary of State for the Environment why he decided not to allow the appeal of the London borough of Lambeth and Wandsworth to develop the Tolworth Court Farm, Kingston site in the light of the contrary Government policy expressed in paragraph 1309 of the Green Paper "Housing Policy—A Consultative Document" issued in June; what action he proposes to take to assist in the purchase and development of land within these boroughs which he said is available; and where this land is to be found.
§ Mr. Guy Barnett:My right hon. Friend has nothing to add to the terms of the decision letter of 3rd October. There has, however, been no change in the general policy as set out in paragraph 1309 of the Housing Green Paper.
