asked the Secretary of State for Scotland when he last had talks with Scottish abattoir owners.

Mr. Hugh D. Brown:

There is no separate body representing the interests of Scottish abattoir owners; they are, however, well represented in the Association of British Abattoir Owners. During the current year my right hon. Friend the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food met that organisation for talks on 14th January and my hon. Friend the Parliamentary Secretary, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food on 10th May.
