asked the Secretary of State for Wales what has been the average rate of monthly increase in unemployment in Wales over the three years since his Government came to office.

Mr. John Morris

From October 1974 to October 1977, seasonally-adjusted unemployment in Wales increased by an average of 1,250 persons a month.
