asked the Secretary of State for Employment if it remains his policy that workers who so desire should be represented by the trades union of their choice.

For collective bargaining purposes the appropriate union, or unions, to represent workers is a matter for agreement between them and their employer in each situation. The EP Act contains provision to assist where there is difficulty in reaching agreement.
