HC Deb 15 November 1977 vol 939 c134W
Mr. Hodgson

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) what was the cost of preparing, printing and distributing the leaflet "Safety in the Home";

(2) what was the cost of preparing, printing and distributing the leaflet "Keeping Fit in Retirement";

(3) how many copies of each of the leaflets "Safety in the Home" and "Keeping Fit in Retirement" have been distributed.

Mr. Deakins

The leaflet "Safety in the Home" is produced by the Health Education Council, which says that since June 1976 700,000 copies have been produced and printed at a cost of £16,850. 450,000 have been distributed in response to requests from health and local authorities. It is not possible to identify separately the cost of distribution. The leaflet "Keeping Fit in Retirement" is issued by the National Dairy Council and I have no information about its preparation, printing or distribution.
