§ Mr. Trotterasked the Secretary of State for Industry who are the auditors of British Shipbuilders and British Aerospace and of their subsidiary companies; and, in the case of the subsidiaries, which firms have been replaced as auditors.
§ Mr. Les Huckfield:Under Section 17(7) of the Aircraft and Shipbuilding Industries Act 1977 my right hon. Friend has appointed Arthur Young McClelland Moores & Co. and Thomson McLintock & Co. as joint auditors for British Shipbuilders, and Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co., as auditors of British Aerospace. The appointment of auditors of sub- 280W sidiary companies is a matter for the corporations.
