Mr. Rooker

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish details of tricycles on issue and in reserve fleet at the latest date, giving separate figures for model 70s, pre-model 70s and electrics, and show how these compare with the same date 12 months ago.

In addition, at 30th September 1977 there were 763 Model 70s, 83 pre-Model 70s, and 145 electrics in store, available for reallocation. The comparable figures for 30th September 1976 were 65, 36 and 127 respectively.

Mr. Rooker

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many invalid tricycle users have so far opted, under the provisions of the Social Security (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1977, to switch to mobility allowance on special terms.
