HC Deb 26 May 1977 vol 932 c620W
Mr. Hooson

asked the Secretary of State for Wales whether, in view of the fact that the Welsh Development Agency has absorbed the Council on Small Industries in Rural Areas and that the latter organisation has been of great importance to the small industries in rural Wales, arrangements have been made to have its headquarters at Newtown where it will be in a position to have the fullest possible co-operation with the Development Board for Rural Wales.

Mr. John Morris

This is a matter for the Welsh Development Agency. I have, however, made it clear to both the Agency and the Development Board for Rural Wales that I am very anxious that there should be the fullest co-operation between the two bodies in this and other fields, and I am confident there will be.
