§ Sir Bernard Braineasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, in view of the pledge given by the Minister of State on 30th March 1977 that any proposals affecting the future of the sovereignty of the Falkland Islands have to be acceptable to the islanders before being put to Parliament, what precise method will be used to ascertain the islanders' approval.
