HC Deb 09 May 1977 vol 931 c368W
Mr. Sainsbury

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he is yet in a position to report on his consideration of the recommendations of the Royal Commission on Environmental Pollution, made in its fifth report, on the co-ordination of measures to control emissions to the atmosphere from industrial sources.

Mr. Shore

Not yet. I have received numerous representations following the circulation by my Department of two consultation papers on the recommendations in the report. I am considering these and will respond to the recommendations as soon as possible.
