HC Deb 02 May 1977 vol 931 c58W
Mr. Gourlay

asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many jobs have been saved by the six months' extension of the temporary employment subsidy; how many jobs have been lost; and how many jobs are expected to be lost by the refusal to grant applications for extension in the Kirkcaldy employment area to the latest convenient date.

Mr. Golding

As at 28th April 1977 no applications for the TES (Supplement) had been received from firms in the Kirkcaldy employment area. It is not possible to estimate future take-up in any particular area.
