§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will meet the Chairman of the Welsh Development Agency and instruct him to restore the Allt Ddu land reclamation scheme at Dinorwic to 74W a position of top priority, in view of the danger involved in any delays.
§ Mr. Alec JonesThe Welsh Development Agency recently announced a land reclamation programme, approved by my right hon. and learned Friend, which provides for feasibility studies to be carried out at Allt Ddu. The Agency will give urgent consideration to the results of the studies as soon as they are available, especially if they indicate that there is an element of danger involved. In the meantime the Agency has informed us that it is prepared to meet a delegation from the Arfon Borough Council to discuss the matter further.
