§ Mr. Viggersasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if she will give her latest estimate of the number of teachers and the number of pupils who have currently agreed to take part in the programme operated by the Adult Literary Resource Agency.
§ Mr. OakesOver 100,000 students are currently receiving tuition in the various local adult literacy schemes. Tuition is provided in part by professional staff and in part by some 45,000 volunteers.
