asked the Secretary of State for Transport what is the estimated cost per mile of the proposed electrification of the Bedford-Moorgate line.

The cost of electrification works, including immunisation of signalling equipment, is estimated at £450,000 per route mile.

asked the Secretary of State for Transport what is the projected average annual traffic density, in terms of passenger miles and freight-ton miles per mile of track of the Bedford-Moorgate electrification scheme.
