§ Mr. Ashleyasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what information he has about proposed cuts by local authorities in services affecting disabled people.
§ Mr. Alfred MorrisAs my hon. Friend will be aware, we have told authorities that in our view the general strategy in respect of 1977–78 should be to protect field and domiciliary services; and it is these services which are particularly relevant to the needs of disabled people. We shall not have full information until later on the effect of the advice we have given.
