Mr. John Moore

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, further to his reply, Official Report, 12th May, column 582, on parliamentary salaries and expenses, whether it is currently Her Majesty's Government's view that Parliament will play no part in determining the remuneration of an elected European Member of Parliament from the United Kingdom.
