asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many advance factories have been built in the Strathclyde area during 1975, 1976 and 1977, respectively; how many of these factories are in use; which ones; and how many and which ones have never been used or occupied.

Details of advance factories, financed from central Government funds, built in the Strathclyde Region in 1975, 1976 and 1977 by the Scottish Development Agency and its predecessor the Scottish Industrial Estates Corporation, the New Towns, and the Highlands and Islands Development Board are as follows:
